DEDICATION TO MEDICAL ADVANCEMENT
When it comes to medical plastics machining, there is no room for compromise or cutting corners, especially when it means patient quality of life or saving lives. Medical components absolutely need the highest precision and the highest quality to ensure safety. That's why we are dedicated to providing cutting-edge CNC machining solutions tailored exclusively for the unique needs of the medical industry. From CNC milling, turning, or drilling to diffusion bonding and polishing, Controlled Fluidics specializes in working within healthcare's strict parameters set by their regulatory bodies, like the FDA. Explore our quality processes.
COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN MEDICAL POLYMERS
Not all plastics are made for medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical applications. For a machined plastic component to be medical grade, it must meet at least one or more of these qualities: biocompatible, sterilizable (i.e. high chemical resistance), withstand x-ray exposure without interference, or compliance with medical regulatory bodies. Many materials exist that have high strength and durability, but if they lack these qualities, then it's unlikely the medical device would hold medical-grade status. Through our decades of experience, we've discovered the following plastics usually meet or exceed medical's intense requirements:
- Acrylic (PMMA)
- Delrin®
- Nylon
- PAI (Torlon®)
- PEEK
- Polycarbonate (PC)
- Polypropylene
- PTFE (Teflon®)
- UHMW PE
- ULTEM®
- Vespel®
- Blends of these plastics

UNPARALLELED MEDICAL PLASTICS EXPERTISE
Thanks to advanced CNC machining and bonding techniques, we create medical parts and assemblies that exponentially enhance care and safety. We can construct incredibly complex fluid pathways with exacting flow control for devices like drug delivery systems — all within a much smaller yet efficient design. We do this all while keeping reliability in mind, especially for machines that absolutely need zero-leak solutions for sensitive applications like dialysis or IV therapy.
WHY CONTROLLED FLUIDICS FOR MEDICAL DEVICE MANUFACTURING
We meet medicinal organizations where they are when it comes to their projects. Not every manufacturer can say that. While every project that comes to us is going to have some differences, we understand the needs these industries absolutely must meet. When it comes to medical fluidic design and manufacturing, we have the technology.
CUSTOMIZATION FOR UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS
