PHENOLICS/G10 PLASTIC MACHINING

DENSE & HARD MATERIAL WITH SUPERIOR CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

Made from a group of synthetic polymers, Phenolics resin comes from the reaction of phenol (an aromatic hydrocarbon) and formaldehyde. With a three dimensional network of these molecules, this unique structure gives them their exceptional strength and durability. Plastic parts machined from phenolics/G10 are great for high-temp applications, electrical components, insulators, and related applications. This plastic offers water and corrosive chemical resistance as well as superior dielectric strength.
