Transcript
Hello and welcome. In this video, we're talking about Tecadur which is a copolyester. At Controlled Fluidics, we often see this material used in research components, pharmaceutical devices, and chemical technology applications.
Tecadur offers exceptional toughness, and it has excellent impact strength. It also has a lot of optical clarity, and it responds very well to polishing. Tecadur is very chemically resistant, so it can withstand exposure to chemicals both in terms of chemical processing and when chemicals are applied to a part for sterilization. It also has great gamma radiation resistance and it retains its clarity even after gamma or e-beam sterilization.
If you're looking for something that can withstand chemicals, radiation, and impact, Tecadur may be the perfect option for you.
This only covers the basics. Learn more aboutĀ Tecadur PlasticĀ on our materials page.
